Can I keep my furniture/equipment if I leave my job?

Yes, it’s possible to keep certain equipment when you leave your job, but this depends on the type of equipment and your employer’s decision.

If the equipment is eligible to be gifted to you, your employer can choose to gift it during the offboarding process. However, items leased by Firstbase under a subscription plan must be returned and cannot be gifted.

The process of gifting equipment works as follows:

When offboarding is initiated, your admin will review the equipment assigned to you.

For any items that are not being returned, the admin will select the reason and choose “I want to gift it to the employee.”

If gifted, the equipment will be re-assigned to you, and it will no longer be part of the company’s assets.
