Considerations, Limitations, Billing, and Other Terms
- Data Security: Before shipping, ensure all devices are securely wiped of any data to protect sensitive information.
- Compliance: Adhere to all relevant laws and regulations concerning the transfer and use of electronic equipment.
- Shipping Logistics: Customers are responsible for the cost and coordination of shipping new equipment to Firstbase warehouses.
- Service Limitations & Terms: This service may not be available in all regions globally. For availability in specific locations, please refer to Firstbase Global Equipment & Logistics Service Capabilities. Additionally - all equipment and logistics services are subject to the Firstbase Equipment & Service Policies in addition to any supplemental documentation including but not limited to Order Forms, Riders, MSAs, and etc.
- Billing: Any associated fees for processing, storage, or handling of customer-supplied equipment will be invoiced per the terms outlined in the customer agreement and subsequent order forms or supplemental documentation.
- SKU Information: The Firstbase team will use the packing list (or physical packaging, wherever possible) to compare to the shipment notice data provided by the customer to determine the correct SKU for the device(s) received. Some manufacturing packaging does not include all the information needed (such as color, CPU/GPU, plug type, etc) and getting all the specifications will require opening up the outer packaging. In that case, Firstbase will use the information provided by the customer to determine the right SKU for the device. This may result in some selected SKUs not actually matching the actual SKU shipped. In those cases, Firstbase can change the SKU based on customer feedback.
E.g. Apple packaging
