Action Center is your admin hub for items that need your attention before work can move forward in Firstbase. When something is waiting on an admin to unblock, confirm, or take a next step, it shows up here so nothing gets stuck in the background.
This guide explains how Action Center is organized and what each tab means.
How Action Center is organized
Open Action Center from the side navigation in your Firstbase account. Tasks are grouped into three tabs:
Pending
Items that need your action now. Each row shows what type of task it is, when it was created, and a summary of what is affected. Click Review to open the detail view and submit your decision.
A badge on the tab shows how many items are waiting. Check this tab regularly so held work can move forward.
Actioned
Items you have already resolved. Each row shows the overall outcome, who submitted the decision, and when. Click View details to see a read-only record of what was decided.
Outcomes include Accepted, Rejected, and Partially accepted, depending on the decisions you made for each affected item.
Outdated
Items that are no longer active because a newer request replaced them. You do not need to take action on these. Open the newer task from Pending instead.
If everything in a request was moved to a newer one, the full request appears here. If only some items were replaced, the original request may still appear under Pending for the remaining items.
What you will see on each task
Each task includes:
- The action type (for example, Price Change)
- A summary of what is affected (orders, products, or other items)
- The date it was created or resolved
- A link to Review (for pending items) or View details (for completed items)
Frequently asked questions
Who can access Action Center?
Admins and Admin Read Only users can open Action Center and view tasks. Only users with the Admin role can submit decisions. Admin Read Only users can review details but cannot submit.
What is the difference between Pending and Actioned?
Pending shows items that still need your action. Actioned shows items you have already resolved, including the outcome and who submitted the decision.
What does Outdated mean?
An item is Outdated when a newer request replaced it. You do not need to take action on outdated items. Resolve the newer task from Pending instead.
How do I know when something needs my attention?
Action Center appears in your side navigation when you have access. A badge shows how many items are waiting on the Pending tab. Check Action Center regularly so held items can move forward.
Can I change a decision after I submit it?
No. Decisions are final once submitted. Review all order lines, package choices, and catalog options carefully before clicking Submit decisions. If you need help after submitting, contact Firstbase Support.
