Rippling - Automate Package Assignment

Note: Prior to automating your package assignments, you must first follow the steps in the onboarding automation setup listed here. 

In order to automate your package assignment for your employees, we'll need to map your "Department" field in Rippling to the corresponding employee package.  

To do so, follow these instructions: 

• Provide your CSM a list of departments and corresponding packages.
  • For example:

  • Department	Package
    Engineering	Engineering Package
    All Other Departments	Non-Engineering Package

• Your CSM will configure your packages on our end, then you should be good to test the integration out. 
• You may need to update the onboarding setup URL you used in the onboarding setup. We'll notify you if this is the case. 

If you need to map to a field different from department, let your CSM know to see if it's possible.
