Apple System PIN Lock Troubleshooting Instructions

Apple System PIN:

Your device is currently under an Apple System PIN lock.  To move forward in getting the device unlocked and graded, please follow the appropriate step(s) that apply to your device's situation below:
 

Is the device enrolled under MDM or ABM, and the pin lock was enabled under either the MDM or ABM and not the employee?

If so, please provide the 6-digit pin for the Firstbase team to unlock the device.

If you are unable to obtain the correct PIN to unlock this device, please advise if you would like Firstbase to ship the device to you for you to recycle/donate and remove the device from Firstbase's managed inventory permanently or if you would prefer Firstbase to decommission the device for you.* Additional fees may apply.*
 

Is the device not enrolled under an MDM or ABM, and your organization was not the party that enabled the lock of the device?
 

If so, please partner with the individual responsible for locking (former worker) and request that they remove the lock on the device by following Apple's steps for how to Remove Activation Lock on the web if a device is offline.
 

Once the device is unlocked, please provide supporting evidence of unlock through a screenshot or written confirmation.
