Simplified Returns, Replacements, and Offboarding

We’ve redesigned workflows to make managing returns, replacements, and offboarding more seamless and efficient.

What’s New?

• Streamlined Return Flows: Redesigned processes offer a more cohesive and intuitive experience tailored to each workflow.
• Flexible Offboarding Options: You can now mark specific equipment as not to be returned and provide a reason directly within the offboarding flow.
• Sustainable Equipment Recycling: Easily designate eligible items for recycling or secure ITAD destruction with updated workflows.

Navigate to Returns, Replacements, and Offboarding within the Firstbase platform to explore the updated workflows.

New ITAD Toggle for Secure Recycling and Destruction

Admins can now securely manage the recycling or destruction of eligible items directly in the platform with the new ITAD toggle feature.

How It Works:

When processing a Return, Replacement, or Offboarding, you’ll now see this option for eligible items:
"Would you like Firstbase to recycle and securely destroy this item?"

Simply toggle this option to handle IT asset disposal responsibly, ensuring NIST-compliant data erasure and, for U.S.-based customers, optional physical hardware shredding.
