Is the device enrolled under MDM or ABM, and the pin lock was enabled under either the MDM or ABM and not the employee?

Is the device not enrolled under an MDM or ABM, and your organization was not the party that enabled the lock of the device?
If so, please partner with the individual responsible for locking (former worker) and request that they remove the lock on the device by following Apple's steps for how to Remove Activation Lock on the web if a device is offline.
Once the device is unlocked, please provide supporting evidence of unlock through a screenshot or written confirmation.
If you are unable to get the requirement for PIN removed by the individual who enabled it as a requirement, please advise if you would like Firstbase to ship the device to you for you to recycle/donate and remove the device from Firstbase's managed inventory permanently or if you would prefer Firstbase to decommission the device for you.* Additional fees may apply.*
