Adding Notes to an Asset

You can add internal notes to any asset in using the Notes Tab in the Asset Details view. This helps teams track context, decisions, or any key updates related to a specific asset—all in one place.

How to Add a Note to an Asset

1. In your Firstbase App, go to Asset Management > All Assets.

2. Locate the asset you’d like to add a note to, then click the action menu (three-dot menu) next to it.

3. Select "View details".
   A side panel will open on the right with the asset's full details.

4. Go to the "Notes" tab

5. From here, you can:

   • Add a new note
   • Edit an existing note
   • Delete a note
   • View all notes

Permissions

• Admins can add, edit, and delete notes.
• Read-only Admins can view notes but cannot modify them.

Are notes exportable?
Not at this time. Notes are currently only available within the platform.
