You can add internal notes to any asset in using the Notes Tab in the Asset Details view. This helps teams track context, decisions, or any key updates related to a specific asset—all in one place.
How to Add a Note to an Asset

In your Firstbase App, go to Asset Management > All Assets.

Locate the asset you’d like to add a note to, then click the action menu (three-dot menu) next to it.

Select "View details".
A side panel will open on the right with the asset's full details. -
Go to the "Notes" tab

From here, you can:
- Add a new note
- Edit an existing note
- Delete a note
- View all notes
Permissions
- Admins can add, edit, and delete notes.
- Read-only Admins can view notes but cannot modify them.

Are notes exportable?
Not at this time. Notes are currently only available within the platform.
