Overview
Firstbase provides the best onboarding experience by leveraging a true zero touch deployment by staging devices for mobile device managers (MDM). This allows seamless new hire orientations as all the configuration, security settings, and department applications are provisioned prior to deploying a device to the client’s end user. We often consult with you regarding best practices and idealized workflow to focus on rapid deployment
Standard Services
Operating System Imaging
- A unique image we will deploy to your fleet.
- Leveraging thin images to be mass deployed:.
- Thin images are similar to golden imaging. The key difference is that thin images are agnostic to physical device architecture, which gives flexibility to deploying one thin image to multiple device types (e.g. Dell or Lenovo).
Streamlined Device Setup
- By leveraging modern MDM (Mobile Device Management) solutions we are able to stage devices to be already configured prior to deployment to the end-user.
Encryption
- By leveraging Bitlocker, and/or Firevault, we can manually lock the device to ensure safety after the device has left our warehouse.. Most encryption technologies are accepted.
Custom Services
Custom MDM Enrollment Script: Powershell
- Only available for Windows devices. If you have a specific method of enrolling devices to your MDM tenant that accepts powershell prompts, then we can absorb that script into our workflow. Requirements are as follows:
- Service account, least privilege, with only view access into the tenant.
Complex & Miscellaneous Device Configuration
- Outside the standard listed above. Usually the examples below can be automated with various methods. While we would still consider the task it’ll need to be reviewed and approved by Firstbase persons. These examples would be:
- Setting up themes
- Customizing the taskbar
- Extension additions
- Uninstalling bloat ware
- Time zone adjustments
- Wallpaper, screen saver times
- Registry Edits
- OS network changes

Billing & Terms
- Fees: Billed as per the Order Form and any supplemental agreement(s).
- As always, all equipment and logistics services are subject to the Firstbase Equipment & Service Policies in addition to any supplemental documentation including but not limited to Order Forms, Riders, MSAs, and etc.
