This article provides step-by-step instructions for adding new people to the Firstbase platform.
1. How to Add a New Person
To add someone, go to the Firstbase menu: People & Offices > People, and click Add Person.
2. Information Required to Add a Person
When adding a new person, complete the following fields:
- First Name
- Last Name
- Primary Email
- Secondary Email (optional)
- Country
- Is this person a new hire? (Yes/No)
- If Yes, select the Start Day.
- Access Level: Basic, Admin, or Admin (read-only)
- Package: Select the package for equipment (if applicable).
After selecting the Access Level and Package, answer this question:
- Would you like to send this person an invite email to Firstbase? This will help them track orders and/or use IT Closet if available.
- Select Yes or No.
3. Completing the Process
Once all fields are complete, you can:
- Click Add Person to finalize.
- Or select Save & Add Another to continue adding more people.
4. Verifying the New Person
Find the newly added person under People & Offices > People, and search for their profile. From their profile, you can access:
- Profile
- Address
- Equipment
- Logistics
