We will send email notifications with the results of each Webhook request for both onboarding and offboarding flows.
1. Where will I receive notifications from my integration?
In order to receive notifications outlining what your integration did and whether it successfully onboarded/offboarded someone, you'll need to configure an email address to receive notifications.
This email address can be configured under the "settings" option in your "integrations" page.
2. When are integration notifications sent?
Differently from our other integrations, we send an email that includes the result of each onboarding/offboarding webhook request.
3. What are some errors I can expect and how can I address them?
Some common errors include:
- Onboarding - Country is missing - In this case, the user's profile information must be reviewed in BambooHR and a country added to the profile.
- Onboarding - Hire Date is missing - In this case, a user's hire date was not present in the information we received from BambooHR.
- Onboarding - (First Name, Last Name, Email Address) fields are missing - Similar to above, but tied to these other different fields.
- Offboarding - Only work email was configured for an employee. In this case, as we are offboarding an employee and they'll lose access to their work email address, we require adding a personal email to ensure the integration runs properly.
