Oracle HCM - Connecting to Oracle HCM

The Oracle HCM - Firstbase integration streamlines your onboarding, updating, and offboarding processes.

This guide will walk you through the steps to set up the integration using Oracle HCM credentials. 

Integration Steps - Connecting using Oracle HCM Credentials

1. Login to the Firstbase App and visit the "Integrations" Page

2. Find Oracle HCM in the list of "Available Integrations" and click on it to start connecting to your Oracle HCM account.

You'll be asked to enter your Oracle HCM URL

• This is available in the welcome email you received when joining Oracle HCM. 
• It's usually tied to the URL you use to login. For example, if you login using: https://myservices- embeddedintegrations.console. oraclecloud.com/mycloud/ cloudportal/gettingStarted
• Your Oracle HCM Server URL will be: myservices- embeddedintegrations.console. oraclecloud.com

3. Enter the Cloud HCM Server Credentials for a user account

We recommend creating an integrations systems user in Oracle HCM and use this account to connect to Firstbase.

This user can be configured with only the necessary permissions to onboard, update and offboard employees. This will require access to data such as: First Name, Last Name, Personal and Work email addresses, personal address, phone number, employee's organizational structure (e.g. division, department), employment type and employment status. 

4. Confirm Oracle HCM account successfully connects

After successful authentication, you'll receive a confirmation that your BambooHR account is now integrated with Firstbase.
