Updating Users Integration - Overview
Follow the steps below to set up the updating users integration between Firstbase and Okta.
Note: Prior to setting up your integration, please ensure you have admin access and connect your account to Okta if you haven’t done so by following these steps.
The updating user workflow focuses on updating users in Firstbase when their details are updated in Okta. It will only update users that exist in Firstbase.
The following details will be updated in Firstbase as they change in your Okta instance:
- First Name
- Last Name
- Work Email
- Personal Email
- Home address
- Street
- Zip Code / Postal Code
- State / Region
- Country
- Phone Number
1. When does the updating integration run?
The update user Integration runs once a day every 24 hours. It’ll run each day at the same time you start the update workflow the first time. It may take 1-2 hours to run depending on the amount of employees in your system.
2. How does the updating integration work?
The update user integration will update an employee in Firstbase if their details are changed in your Okta instance.
3. How do I set up the updating integration?
1. Visit your Okta Integrations page
2. Start your "Update User" Integration
Simply click on the “Start” button under on the Update User and you should be ready to go.
