Here's a summary of changes made as part of our July 2024 release:
1. Asset Metadata Enhancements
Cumbersome, lengthy computer product titles are now concise spec chips, making it easier to read and streamline your search process. Here's what's new:
- View Computer Specs as Chips: You can now see computer specs displayed as chips instead of long product titles in Asset Management and "Your Catalog" pages, making it easier to quickly understand key asset details.
- Filter Views by Computer Specs: Filter your views using computer specs, allowing for more precise data management. To do that, select Computers in the category filter, and the computer filter container will be displayed.
2. Return Improvements
In the past few weeks, we've implemented several enhancements for returns and replacements that help you keep better track of your returns and where they are along the entire returns process. This includes:
- More Granular Return Statuses: We've added new, more granular statuses to track the outcome of your returns. This includes the following statuses:
- Not Completed: This status is set when all items are marked as Not Returned or a combination of Not Returned and Cancelled.
- Partially Completed: This status is used when at least one item is marked Returned, and others are Not Returned or Cancelled.
- New “Last Updated” Column for Orders, Returns and Replacements: We Added a new “Last Updated” column in the Orders, Returns, and Replacements tabs to show when an order was last updated
- New “Offboarding” Question: Admins are now required to specify whether a return order is an offboarding return order or a one-off return order, preventing duplicate return orders for the same inventory items.
- Transparent Offboarding Experience for Leavers: Leavers now have indefinite access to track their return orders, with full visibility on return kit status, inbound and outbound tracking links, and the status of each returned item.
- Updated Return Orders Export: The new return orders export now includes more details about the return order, such as retrieval method info, inbound and outbound tracking info, return order items, and their statuses.
