Here's a summary of changes made as part of our June 2024 release:
1. Ability to Archive and Unarchive Assets
You can now archive and unarchive assets that you directly supplied to Firstbase, or that you bought from Firstbase as a purchased device (not via a subscription).
How to Archive/Unarchive Assets:
- Click on the asset you want to archive or unarchive.
- Hover over the asset status and click. If you’re unarchiving, the asset will unarchive and the status will be updated automatically.
- If you’re archiving an asset, you’ll be prompted to select an archive reason and save.
2. Improved Filtering and “Supplied by” Information in Asset Management
We’ve made several existing improvements to the Asset Management Page.
First off, have you ever wanted to see who supplied your assets and if they were acquired on a purchase or subscription basis? You can now find in the Asset Management page whether an asset has been supplied by Firstbase or your organization. If an asset is supplied by Firstbase, you can also see whether it's through a purchase or a subscription.
A new "Supplied by" filter allows you to filter all assets by these three categories, making it easy to sort through your equipment.
Secondly, we also added a way for you to filter by Office, Person or Warehouse, to help you sort through your inventory considering to whom or where it’s assigned to.
3. Export option in your Packages Page
You can now export the information on your packages page. There's two export options:
- Package Details Data: provides an overview of your package data, including how many users they are assigned to, items deployed, etc.
- Package Content Data: provides a list of all products included in each package.
4. The IT Closet is now country aware and bulk invites are easier to send
The IT Closet has also improved through two developments:
- The IT Closet is now country aware. When you set up your IT Closet, each product you select will only be made available to employees in regions where that product can be shipped to. So, for example, an Australian keyboard that should only be orderable in Australia, will now only be shown to Australia employees when they place an IT Closet order. This makes the IT Closet easier to use by your employees worldwide and prevents ordering errors for items that shouldn’t be orderable in a given country.
- Bulk Invites to the Firstbase App can be sent to your existing employees. We now support the ability to invite your employees in bulk to the Firstbase app if you’ve previously added them without an invitation. If you are interested in this option, you can work with your Customer Success Manager and we’ll help you through this process.
