Here's a summary of changes made as part of our January release:
1. Asset Lifecycle Tracker
It is designed to tackle several crucial challenges in IT asset management:
- ๐ Full Lifecycle Visibility: Track each assetโs journey from acquisition to retirement, clearing up inefficiencies and errors.
- ๐ก๏ธ Enhanced Accountability: Monitor all changes to your assets, including who made them and when.
- ๐ Optimal Resource Utilization: Gain insights into user behavior and equipment usage to make informed decisions.
- ๐ Streamlined Compliance: Keep a detailed record of asset histories, simplifying audit and compliance efforts.
We're also excited to announce additional updates to further improve your experience:
- ๐ Updated Section Naming: We've changed the "Inventory Management" section to "Asset Management" for a more accurate representation of its functionality.
- ๐ Enhanced Asset Management Table: The header of the asset management table is now sticky, making navigation easier. Plus, the product title column has been improved to display the full product title directly, saving you from having to hover over it.
- ๐๏ธ New 'Actions' Dropdown Menu: A versatile 'Actions' dropdown menu has been introduced. This feature allows for quick actions like "View history" of an asset, alongside other options such as "View return order" or "Change assignee," streamlining your asset management tasks.
You can use the Asset Lifecycle Tracker starting today. To access the history of any asset, simply navigate to the "Asset Management" section and:
- Click on the product name of the asset you're interested in.
OR - Use the new 'Actions' dropdown menu and select "View history".
Additional content on the Asset Lifecycle Tracker is available here. Your feedback is always welcome as we continue to evolve and improve. Give it a try and let your Customer Success Manager know what you think!
2. Improved Inventory Orders Page
We've improved the functionality of our inventory orders page by adding the ability to search, export and filter for relevant fields. We increased the size of the columns so that the full inventory name is visible. Finally, we added the "Expected ship date" field, which provides the date inventory is expected to ship from suppliers to our warehouses.
