Onboarding - Setup Instructions
Follow the steps below to set up the Asset Tracking integration between Firstbase and ServiceNow.
1. Connect to ServiceNow in Firstbase's Integrations Page
- Visit the Firstbase App, click on Settings, then "Integrations"
- Find ServiceNow under the "Available Integrations" and click on it.
- Click "Next" when prompted to review data permissions
- Add your ServiceNow Domain
- Add the User Name and Password for the user you'll use to connect.
- You can create a specific user for the Firstbase Integration with the right permissions.
- We recommend this account having admin roles & privileges. The minimum roles required should be admin, web_service_admin, and/or rest_admin.
- Click Next
- Your connection will now be enabled and you can start the integration in the "Active Integrations tab".
2. Start your ServiceNow Integration
- Under "Active Integrations" click on your ServiceNow Integration.
- Start the "Sync Asset Details" flow. This will initiate the integration and start syncing your asset details from Firstbase to ServiceNow.
- You are all set! Your integration should be up and running now.
